Physical Therapy Southampton, Newtown, Richboro, Philadelphia, Jamison, Levittown

physical therapy for athletes and active adults

At Ironphysio, we understand that after sustaining an injury and/or being in pain for a long period of time you may be feeling frustrated and defeated. We are here for you! At Ironphysio, you can expect to be treated one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy at every visit. You will have access to your physical therapist's personal cell phone number and will be encouraged to contact them with any questions or concerns that may arise in-between treatment sessions. If you are someone who is looking to decrease pain, improve your impairments, and get back to living a healthy and active lifestyle, Ironphysio is the place for you! We are not just a typical physical therapy clinic; we are a family.

The initial evaluation (first visit) will involve a thorough assessment of your impairments by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. First, you can expect to have a sit down conversation with one of our physical therapists about what you are coming in for and what your goals for physical therapy are. Next, your physical therapist will perform a thorough assessment of your impairments. Our physical therapists are experts in differential diagnoses of musculoskeletal impairments and will be able to determine the root cause of your pain/injury. Then, your physical therapist will discuss the findings from the evaluation with you and create an actionable plan to help achieve your goals, which will likely involve home exercises. Lastly, if time permits, we will begin to treat your impairments through manual therapy (hands-on) and exercise.

Follow-up sessions will involve one-on-one treatment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Treatments may include various manual therapy techniques and exercises to help reduce pain and improve impairments. Progress will be assessed frequently in order to ensure we are on the right track towards achieving your goals! Proudly serving Southampton, Newtown, Richboro, Warrington, Doylestown, Philadelphia, Jamison, Levittown, and surrounding areas.
